Lateral Mofsets

Missed out on the days when one could purchase hitachy lateral mofsets from a distributor (always been a tube guy.) Seems mosfets are tougher to find than NOS tubes.

I just need 2 pairs for a stereo headamp. Are there any reliable sources left? Or other lateral mosfet recommended for the ~250 mA range. Open to PM's.

Seems the 2SK1058 2SJ162 is relatively available, concern is running a headamp at lower bias will they perform as well as the 2SK135 2SJ50, main reason I ask it LT spice is shows a good 20 db difference in distortion. Probably just modeling inaccuracy?

Profusion ships lateral Mosfet's in small quantities (i ordered last year and all went smoothly).
Check here.
These are the same chip as Semelab / Alfet, and AFAIK also Magnatec and are as good as the Renesas parts you mentioned.
Someone who knows what he's talking about said so here.
