Check this out!
LaserBoy in Short Films on Vimeo
LaserBoy is a project I started on back at the end of 2003.
The idea is to use a modified multi-channel sound card as a means of producing the audio-like signals necessary to control a full color laser projector.
This is probably the one thing that I can say I am somewhat famous for!
People are using LaserBoy all over the world to make their own laser shows and display them.
Do a search for "LaserBoy DAC" !
The LaserBoy project and its related technology is free, open source (C++) and under the GPL. It compiles and runs in just about any OS, Windows, Mac OSX Linux and others. It comes with a pre-compiled Windows executable.
