KR Audio Marconi R Valve linestage help

Has anyone any suggestions (schematic) on how to build a simple linestage with my KR Audio Marconi "R" valves. Maybe with additional stage for buffering. R valves specifications: Max plate voltage 180v, Max current 2ma(vf:4v,vg:0v), Va 120v, Ia 1ma, Vg -0.5v, Transductance 0,3ma/v.

Thanks,

Kenneth

Those specifications are not very useful, but try something like this.
Use gridleak bias, adjust andode resistor to get about 100 V anode voltage, and that's it.

I would have thought that the R valves were for use bringing old radios back to life . A valve with gm of 0.3mA/V does not typically make a good linestage valve on it's own , you could always use a cathode follower output stage but suggest you look into type 26 or 4P1L for linestage use instead . If you want to build a linestage that looks and sounds fantastic , use a 316a 🙂
