Hello all, new here after years of watching and learning. I have 2 pairs of KLH model 32 speakers, 8" woofers with little paper cone tweeters. All appear the same. I want to re-cap the tweeters and found that one pair has 4.7 uf caps soldered in line, the other has 4.0 uf caps taped to the low-pass filter. Tweeters all measure close to 4 OHMs. The low-pass filters appear the same.
Which cap would give the best performance and still filter what it needs to filter to protect the tweeter?
