Leg 1 of the MPSW transistor is nearest the tab on the transistor outline on the board. The following is from a 600 but the installation is the same for the w42 and w92 drivers.

R122? The potentiometer? Did you reset the bias?

Are both channels noisy?

Connect your meter between the B+ terminal and a non-bridging speaker terminal. Meter set to ohms. Nothing else connected to the amp. Twist/push/pull on the power transformer. Does the meter ever go to near 0 ohms?

good morning
i dont understand what you mean =?

i mesure the potentiometer, you have to know that only one side was cut out so i take the other side as a base for the resisdence, reset bias? how?

what do you mean with both chanels noisy?

the mesurement change if i pull push or twist the transformer

thanks for this example

for testing und repearing amps
this supply is for usage in USA not in Germany
but the specs are interesting
12-15V adjustable
up to 46 Ampere

so it have to be a supply about 50A and adjustable?
is it better to find one with analog screens?

I use a 20 amp astron (VS-20M) for initial troubleshooting and testing but that's not enough for testing most amps to full power. The 50 amp allows testing small amps to full power but still isn't enough to test amps like your kicker to full power. For testing moderately large amps, you'll need 100+ amps and likely at least one battery.

A lot of people are using large server power supplies like those made for dell servers. Some are rated for about 130 amps.

Digital meters are good for precise readings but analog meters are better (in my opinion) for testing audio amplifiers.
