It appears that an output (TIP35 or TIP36) or output driver transistor (TIP41 or TIP42) shorted and caused one of the mosfets to fail. Q10 is an IFFZ44V. The TO92 transistor that sits between the output drivers (TIP41 and TIP42) should be a 2N4401.

I'll need to check my schematics to be sure what goes where. I would recommend replacing all eight IRFZ44V, and check all gate resistors to be sure they are in value.Once you have the power supply checked with an ohmmeter and before you install the outputs, check to see that the power supply generates rail voltages. Maybe 38 volts to 45 volts depending on the input voltage. I will check my notes to be sure.

Be sure to check each of the output and driver transistor locators for any shorts that may be deeper in the circuit.

The locators are as follows:
TIP35- Q112-412
TIP36- Q114-414
TIP41- Q110-410
TIP42- Q111-411

Correction:
The TO92 is an MPSA06 not a 2N4401 as I stated post #4. The locators are Q109-409

The negative and positive Rails should measure 38 volts with a 14.4 volt input, using the Power ground as a reference.
