I now have a kicker cxa300.4 that has rail, and regulated voltage. Powers up fine, and draws @1 amp of current. Plays audio very low even at max gain. I been searching around for damaged components and can not seem to find the culprit. Some help would be most welcome.
On the bottom side of the PCB on the top edge of the board about in the middle of your tweezers I see what looks like a broken trace or bad solder joint.
Possible muting issue.
First check if any DC voltage between Power & Speaker Ground. If so check resistance between same. If Open check for open traces and RP87-0 ohm resistor. You may recall previous threads I've brought this up Rhempz01. This is a very common issue.
If that's not it check the DC voltages at the PWM daughter board pins and post. Starting on either side of the board and label Pins 1 through 13.
The muting circuit uses a C945 JFET at the input to each channel. One by One remove Q19 through Q22 to see if the mute clears and isolates to one channel

Still just pulsating. Changed entire channel, testing for voltage at the backs of the rectifiers they have - 1.51vdc. Tested each channel. All have the exact resistence all the transistors and or mosfets as well.

Should this have been posted to your current thread?
