I removed rca from my crossover and all the engine/alternator noise disappeared. I did a continuity check and realized that the gnd terminal and the rca shields on the KX3 is discontinuous. Could this be the problem with the crossover and how do repair it?
i did some checks and observed that as long as a rca cable is connected to the input of the crossover with the output of the crossover connected to the amps, i hear the alternator noise, even if the other end of the rca is not connected to the preamp. Help me please.
