Hi everybody! I am pretty new to sound systems, but recently came across my dads old Kenwood system. I hooked everything up according to the schematic, but when I plug in speakers and power the amp on, I get this really loud humming sound. If I turn the music all the way up, I can hear it through the humming, but it definitely doesn't seem very loud at all. Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem? Thanks!
Moved to solid state.
Lots of hum, very little signal... sounds like a bad ground connection to me, possibly in the cable.
