I have a Kenwood excelon x500-1 that came to me and it has some dead output mosfets and two missing power supply caps. I was wondering if anyone could let me know what size rated caps this little amp needs. The missing caps are C16 and C17.
Much appreciated

If no one has a schematic for this board, what do I need to consider on the power supply components to make an educated guess as to what size uf and voltage rating?

Looks like pacparts may have the service manual.

I know it's not what you are asking...

Kenwood REALLY liked 3900@16v caps but most of their amps had input filter inductors. This is a budget amp and the inductor has been bypassed with a bussbar.
The value won't be critical. I'd suggest the largest 25 or 35v 'low impedance' cap that will fit in the alloted space. If you can fine 3900uF, great but it's likely to be 2200uF or so. Again, it won't be critical.
The following is something like what you're looking for (long hours at 105C, low impedance...) but one thing that concerns me is the 'miniature' specification. Make sure that they're not significantly smaller than similar caps (voltage and capacity).
