I've sourced a pair of original unused KEF KAR 110M car speakers, these were essentially brand new in box but due to their age the foam surrounds had failed.

I have carefully taken off all the old foam and adhesive but the replacement surrounds don't quite fit, and seems all the others online appear to have the same dimensions which don't quite fit.
I bought these surrounds which 'should' fit, arrived nice and quickly.

They do have a generic rubber replacement option which on paper fits better (roll outer is slightly smaller so fits better)

Other option is trying these from speakerrepairshop, who I have had good experience in the past with foam donuts for some KEF 104/2.

So question is, try the rubber option or from other suppliers? These will be used in a car with a high pass at 100Hz so excursion should be limited.
Drivers cleaned ready to re-foam
Outer foam surround cut down to fit in the recess in the speaker frame, does not leave much surface area to glue to.
Dry fit
Patented yoghurt pot holders and lids, happened to be perfect to keep dust out!
Quick test with the Dayton DATS before I started the process to check they were still working, not too far off considering they have been sat in a box for almost 30-years.
