Hi
I manage to find a pair of KEF 105/3 the other day but unfortunately they did need quite a lot of attention to bring them up to standard.
I then thought why not try building them yourself as I've got all the tools needed to take on the job - but - obviously I haven't got the specs/design of the loudspeakers.
Has anyone out there tried building these or maybe just happen to 'stock' the info needed, then please let me now...
Thanks in advance
Brian
Ps. ...and I know it is an ambitious project ;-)

Have you got the drivers? You might find with the drivers being so hard to find these days that the project will never get off the ground.

Hi,
Whilst being very difficult to "clone" you do have to ask what is the
point of the design design decisions in the above speaker. Certainly
not absolute sound quality, more maximum sound levels mid-bass.

Hi,
thanks for the replies, I appreciate that the old drivers are difficult to find and I was planning to go for the latest model that KEF provide.
I guess when it comes to sound quality then you can find almost any opinion depending on who you ask🙂
