I hear it has a great picture...and is pretty cheap.
Or is the NEC 1545 still the easyest to take apart...

I remember that someone posted before. According to him, the controller card was very difficult to be removed from its back if not impossible. but I guess you never know unless try it yourself. I have a rad-5 too, so if you success, please post your result. I might take it apart after I upgrade 🙂

I tried the Rad5 back in the days of the first thread!! It has horizontal and vertical driver boards connected by a very fragile ribbon cable. NOT RECOMMENDED. BUT, if you REALLLLLY want to try it, let me know. I took pictures of the disassemly, and I'll post them.
I would go with the NEC. It's what I'm thinking about getting. I have a projection panel now(see the telex thread), and I would Love to have more colors/contrast/resolution.
