Just wondering if anyone has a scematic diagram for this amp??
I have had this for a while because I told my friend Steve I might be able to fix it. He lives 300Mi away and I have not had any time until now to do anything about it until now, he really screwed it up...
Apparently he told me he was trying to get a better signal reference on the radio reciever by connecting the ground connection for the antena to earth ground from the wall socket. This of course would have worked just fine except he stuck it into the hot side and F't it up.
In checking for the obvious, I couldn't find any burnt parts. I suspect that some of the IC's on the input selector/radio circuit board are fried. The power amp section seems to be functioning correctly. However I am going to need a scematic to track down the problem.

Hi cunningham,
I've fixed some receivers that had the same thing happen. A couple were write offs.
First, check the ground connections between the tuner pcb and chassis ground. You may have lost grounds elsewhere as well.
The selector IC's may be toast, don't forget the tone / volume pcb.
These are general suggestions on what I've seen in the past. I wish you good luck on this one.
