Can anyone tell me more about this design? Seems like the few threads that spoke about it were dead ends, and photos were gone. Found one thing about it on perkhorns. That's it. Maybe hornresp parameters? Any input on the design?

Seems like there's a big chunk of wasted space in the center. This suggests that an equivalent response can be achieved in a smaller, more optimized cabinet.
Agreed. But i like the concept of driver on the bottom as opposed to "hanging" inside the mouth.

The "JTH18???" is a TH similar in exterior size to Josh Ricci's Othorn, but as Brian mentions, it has wasted space in the large center triangle, as well as four corner triangles.
The Othorn tapped horn
The "JTH18???" path length appears a few feet shorter than the Othorn, which should raise Fb 4-5 Hz, and F3 compared to the Othorn. The higher Fb, even with reduced volume, should result in similar, or slightly more output.
The Othorn's Hornresp inputs re-scaled to the "JTH18???" dimensions should give you a good idea of this design's potential.
If you plan to use high power, high excursion drivers, include plenty of bracing.
