Has anyone built the vented version of the JX92S enclosure on the Jordan site? It is shown at
www.ejjordan.co.uk/enclosures.html
I realise there a number of you who have built the TL enclosure - plus a few commercial versions of it but any feedback on the vented cabinet would be appreciated.

Don't know anyone, but FWIW here's a thread about the ML-TL I designed and JF built/compared to Jim Griffin's 7L/55Hz BR w/BSC:

I am also very interested in building the vented cabinet - as the TL (I have heard) has a bit more distortion at the low end.
I would be interested in anything you find on the vented configuration.
That box looks great though huh? 🙂

The people at Pass Labs are going to post the plans for a horn based on a Jordan driver in the next few weeks. Might be worth looking into. Sometimes they take a few months though to post things...

I've got a pair of Jordan JX-92's in a small floorstanding TL, I like them for casual listening:

Sheldon,
Those are what I also envisioned when I saw the Jordans-
Tiny innofensive towers. if I wanted to make a push-push (bipole) version with a driver facing to the front and one to the back, would I just double the cross sectional area of the transmission line and leave the length the same? I realize they wouldn't then be quite as tidy, but I could put them between my living and dining areas and get sound in both, as well as counteracting baffle step problems.
Very pretty

Thanks for the info so far. I'll certainly keep an eye on the Pass horn idea. (zHorn hasve also produced a small horn with the JX92S).
Ted Jordan himself is a long-standing supporter of properly designed vented cabinets, and as everyone else seems to be making the TL, I thought I'd give it a go.
