This DAC has been out for a while, and has been modified. In the list of things to upgrade on this DAC, nobody seems to touch the Power supply caps. The tube output is not single ended. So does the power supply not matter as much in a non single ended amp? I know they are important in a single ended amp. It seems that the caps in the output brd. are replaced. I ask, because if I do not need to replace the Pwr supply caps it will save some time and money. I'm building a new system, and I am already way over budget on the amp and speakers, and I haven't started to mod the new Jolida DAC yet, or start building my new transport. Of course it wouldn't be that much more trouble to change them while I'm in there. So what do you all think? Is it worth changing the power supply caps in the Jolida tube DAC or not? And if I do, is it worth it to replace the high voltage caps in the power supply with expensive Mundorf poly tube caps? (Would have to be mounted on top of the DAC) Thank you all.
