John Mayall 29 November 1933 – 22 July 2024.
What can adequately describe John Mayall's contribution to the British blues scene? He formed The Bluesbreakers, a band that has counted among its members some of the most famous blues and blues rock musicians such as Peter Green and Eric Clapton to name but two.

Oh, that' really a sad news. Bluesbreakers is one of the first albums I bought and surely one of the best. Seen live in my city in Italy back in the '80s with Mick Taylor at the guitar: one of the most entertaining concert I have ever been to, with a long and joyful final session in which the band was joined by Taylor's girlfriend "playing" a wine bottle with a drum-stick.
I haven't dug into his whole career but I love love LOVE his (atypical yet unique) The Turning Point
'The Turning Point' was the first ever LP I bought. His music keeps enjoying. RIP John Mayall.
