JJ capacitors

JJ versus Black Gate ?

Wow.

By far the best sounding electrolytic cap I ever heard. They're not expensive and have a range that's ideal for tubes.

Is it true ??? The absolute ultimate-told Rubycon Black Gate can be - to say that way - beaten by these JJ's ?

If you have tried both (so the Black Gate ones, too) ... is it still your opinion about the JJ caps ?

(Don't look at me, I'm a beginner and I've a good contact to JJ products here in Hungary since all of my tubes and sockets are JJ-made too).

Anyone compared them to BG or other "ultra high-end" caps?

I actually would definitely NOT spend much for capacitors like hundreds for one Black Gate... nonsense, I think..

So I'm also interested in your opinions on JJ electrolytics .

HOLD YOUR HORSES....

Hi,

I did say ELECTROLYTIC cap, didn't I?

So, no, the JJ caps are NOT better than the BGs...Which aren't electrolytic caps anyway but certainly not nonsense to my ears either.

The JJ are however markedly better than other electrolytic caps I know of.

Cheers,😉

Shake your *** ...

According to BG specs, they're electrolytics.

Actually they aren't, but sold AS IF THEY WERE.

The 3-liter Saabs are still Saab ones, although Opel's MV6 3.0 liter engine was built in.

That's the same. So I'll call the non-electrolytic BG's still electrolytics.
