Hi,
i have the oportunity to switch from the GTO 75.4 which is 105w x 4, 70-75 dB and THD 1% to a MAC Audio Fearless 4000D which is 140w x 4, BUT > 100dB and THD 0.03 %. ON paper MAC seems to blow the GTO in terms of quality (also rated power even if it's not a bit factor for me) but i'm not sure if it lives up to the numbers. MAC was pretty cheap when new, around 200-250 USD.
I am planning to run front Speakers thru this MAC /JBL 75.4 (JBL GTO 609C speakers) and another set of mid-rang 2.5 or 3" with a Ground Zero Hydrogen 4ch. and rear speakers just for bass (no tweeter as i see the setup now)
What Would Experts advise me? Keep the 75.4 or switch for the MAC Audio for better quality.
Also the MAC is build in dual mono configuration as the GTO 75.4 is single power config.
Thanks
