MC SNR Figures

The manufacturer either has access to lower noise transistors than I have seen or has screened devices to get those with the best noise figures. I can believe that by going 2 sigma out on the distribution curve that it's possible to get an En that is 50% that of typical. If they used 2SJ74/2SK170 devices and paralleled them they might get En down below 0.1 nV/sqrt(Hz), which is approximately what they would need to get ~95 dB SNR for 500 uV. BTW, I am assuming the 500 uV is applied at 1.0 KHz. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks for the additional information. Do you know what the parameteic differences are between those transistors and the 2SJ74/2SK170? Also, it would be interesting to get SPICE models for the devices Yahama is using.
