Now that I have received my vfet supplemental kit, it looks like I have an extra matched LSj74/k170 pair I ordered before the supplemental kit was announced. Is there a good preamp circuit available using these? Not even sure I need gain, but 6db would match my current preamp so that would be ideal.

Check the B1 R2 thread if you are ok with unity gain, or BA-3 as a pre if you need some more gain
With just one pair you can only do one channel. You would need at least 2 pairs to make a stereo preamp.
I do have 2 pair, just wasn't clear in the original post
