Russ: I recall reading somewhere a while back that you were considering changing the gain structure of the two OPA stages on the IVY-III. You suggested that lower distortion might result from making both OPAs near equal in gain. Have you ever followed up on that idea? I am considering trying 390R and 360R in the two stages for close to 2 V output with B-IIIse, should I give it a go?
Anyone else experiment with this?

update
Went ahead and used 390R and 360R using PRP resistors matched to better than 0.1%. No way to know for sure here, but this seems to be the best sounding IVY-III I have built yet. A bit more insight into low level details, but not hard, bright, or annoying sound.
Also used PPS SMD caps (8.2 nF) for the analog filtering.

output V
Measured the output V for anyone interested. Got 2.1 V for 0 dB with the 390/360 R combo.
