I just wanna say that I've read many of the post here and I found them very helpful in helping to make a decision whether or not this was a worthy project for myself to get involved with. Well, right now I am leaning more towards not getting started, even though Akeem's comprojector has me seeing that with good planning and the right tools something great can happen.

I like the simplicity of the overhead projector and the LCD projection panel. (Seems like the obvious easy path to take) and I've found a few panels on ebay, preferably the Ovation 822c, but I was wondering how has the success rate been for you guys and girls on recieving a quality product and not getting ripped off?

I was also wondering if anyone has had the chance to take apart an expensive projector to see what type of setup they have and if so where can I find a digram. By this I do NOT mean the 3 LCD projector. Way too complicated and involved for this novice.

Here's a link to a fairly inexpensive 2", decent resolution LCD based upon what I have gathered from these forums. I was wanting to shrink this device as much as possible. Maybe use a LCD from a handheld TV or possibly a digital camera's LCD. I dunno why i haven't come across any pictures that have these setups. Are they that tough to make and is the quality that poor?

I've also come across really cool reflective LCD's, I'm sure there is a link somewhere in these threads but just incase
