This DAC use AD1853 chip with AD8138 diffamps in I/U converter. Using HF differential amplifiers in I/U converter ensures the high CMRR in comparison with standard opamp schematic from datasheet, that provides clear and detail sounding. The lowpass filter is made on AD8610 opamp, buffered by AD811 to eliminate cable capacitance influence. This DAC has SPDIF COAX/TOSLINK interface (CS8416 receiver) and also may served as master clock source for CD transport (synchronous SPDIF mode). AD1853 may clocked by Gollege GXO-U100 oscillator with extremelly low jitter (about 5-7 ps) or by clock recovered from SPDIF. Clock sources are switched by Fujitsu FTRB3GA4.5Z relay with very low contact capacitance.

Hi there, Nice looking DAC. Are you selling this as a kit, or is this a kit you have built yourself?
All the best,
Anil.

It's my own design. I don't sell full kits, but I can sell only PCB of this DAC. Unfortunately, I can't place the schematics, assembly drawing and bill of material because this files size exceed max file size allowed on this forum. This files are here: http://www.vegalab.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=7542
ummm..I am not able to download the file. It says I have not enough privileges. I suppose that are some rules in that Forum, but I can't read russian.

Nice. Looks very balanced. Are those 4 heatsinks on LM317's/37's?
No, it's transistors. This DAC uses parallel regulators for supply analog parts and oscillatorAre those 4 heatsinks on LM317's/37's?
Seems you have to register to taht russian forum before you can download the files.
@Maxim: Perhaps you can upload ist to one of those free file hostings services like www.rapidshare.de (some hassle when downloading, but 100MB max filesize).
