Hi. I have a pair of Fostex 166e fullrange speakers.
I am limited on how tall my speakers can be, max about 100cm tall and I do want them as tall as possible.
Would this design me any good that I have linked below for fostex 166e speakers?

I have been thinking of making the manufacturers recommended cabinet, but they are rather big and the link above seems to be slightly easier to make. It is my first project.
Any other recommendations are welcome as long as they are not any harder than the manufacturers cabinet.,
Many Thanks

Best suited fro FE167, these have been used with FE166 with some series R (at minimum, sometimes a more comprehensive EQ is needed)

Here is a pic of the almost finished product...

I have researched these drivers a lot and I definitely think Ron's A166 are the way to... I have'nt tried them yet but just reading the design notes and reading user feedback it sounds like the most balanced (and advanced) of the FE166e implementations...
I wonder if it will also work with the new 166en...
Whilst you are deciding. PLAY THEM PLAY THEM PLAY THEM... Just get some hours on them...
