Is this a good speaker configuration?

I'm making plans for a soundbar with sattelite speakers. It's going to have 4 3" drivers in the front then a left and right sattelite speaker with 5" drivers. I want the sattelite to unplug easily so I have it connected with terminals.

The 3" driver is a Dayton Audio PC83-8
The 5" driver is a Dayton Audio PA130-8
The amp is a 160Wx2

I have the schematic posted also. Will this work correctly?

I see you're adding the powers. Speaker power is not a very useful or helpful guide and besides, they're uneven so you won't get all of it.

What you should probably look at is the sensitivities, followed by the impedances.

By the way, didn't you say there would be 2 x 5"?
 
The 3 inch has a sensitivity of 85db, and the 5 inch 88db.

I meant 2 5" total, 1 on each channel.
Each channel would have 2 3", and 1 5"

I added up the power because I thought that when in series or parallel you would need more power to get the same loudness as if they were on their own channel.
 
Power distribution is dominated by the single 8 Ω driver, as it nominally draws twice the current than both 8 Ω drivers in series. Hence, total power capability will be 75 W instead of 110 W.

OK I get what your saying. Would I be better off using 1 or even 2 of the same 3" drivers in the sattelite speakers, and connect them in series and parallel?

Or the 3" driver does come in 4Ω, it's just backordered, but I don't think that would help with current like you said.
 
Probably, what is your application?

If two or more drivers cover the same frequency range, generally they should be identical.
Depending on their impedance, they could be either in series or in parallel.

Sorry but you are connecting it wrong.

Don´t let you be entangled with "names" but with "function": here the soundbar IS your "satellites" (dedicated to mids-highs) and the 5" speakers are your "subwoofers" (dedicated to Bass); if anything by performance and the enclosure they are mounted in.

3" speakers Soundbar is limited in cubic volume by definition; 5" ones can live in larger cabinets.

Amp suggests:

so of course you follow it.

1) split soundbar in 2 halves, left and right.

Each half will have 2 x 8 ohm 3" speakers in series, each 16 ohm total, each connected to respective R-L outputs.
This will keep Stereo working.
As you want, each half will be permanently connected to its respective L or R amp channel.

2) you´ll need to make a "joint box" with 2 input terminals connected to amp Subwoofer out, leading to 2pairs of "Subwoofer out" terminals, connected in series, where you can plug/unplug your 5" "subwoofers" at will.

Important hint: the connection you suggest on post "1 is IMPOSSIBLE with the amplifier you specify.

I never meant for the sattelites to be subwoofer. I wanted them so It can be louder. I'm probably not going to use the subwoofer ports on the amp because I want to use a powered subwoofer. I've recently changed my plans to using the same 3" drivers in the sattelites so the sensitivity is the same. I would wire them in series then parallel with the speakers in the soundbar. I have the new schematic posted.
