measure the directors and reflectors.
If they are about a foot from tip to tip then it is a UHF TV aerial for bandA
A bit shorter and it works for higher frequencies, Band B upwards.
If the tip to tip are about 5feet then it might work for FM but it's going to be damned heavy to lift up to the roof. I have never seen a high gain FM aerial with that many elements (39 if I can still count).
