The reason i ask is that my mother has Toshiba tablet - but tablet doesnt charge via usb port, tried with mine 10000 power bank tried with 5v 1A and 5v 2.1A - nothing no reaction, but connecting 12v 3A ac adapter it starts charging ( it has separate port for that 12v) Sorry for off-topic 😕
I managed to repair a gps that was not charging.
It appeared to have been dropped and the USB socket had been ripped off the PCB. There were no signs of external damage and the socket still lined up with the hole through the plastic casing.
Very small to work with but I got there and they were pleased with the result.
