Hi,
I would like to combine this power amp:
Top Iraud2000 Class D Amplifier Board 2000W Irs2092s IRFB4227 7G23A-22UH | eBay
with this power supply:
2000W ad alta efficienza LLC Soft Interruttore AMPLIFICATORE AUDIO POWER SUPPLY BOARD | eBay
I would like to know if anyone has experience with this pair.
Thank you,
Kind Regards

The irs2092 are driving the irfb4227 directly, no totem pole, my guess is they will have a hard time.
If you choose to to buy them, do yourself a favour and add a small heatsink to the irs2092.

Yes, I think they will drive them directly, at least from the photo I see here:

So different to what is suggested here: https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/iraudamp9.pdf?fileId=5546d462533600a40153569aee022bff
Thanks amplidude for the tip about the heatsink!
IRS2092 is an obsolete device!
Thank you for your advice JonSnell,
can you please suggest similar modules with better performaces that can stay in the same ballpark moneywise?
Jlester, a member here and a vendor sells very nice irs2092 pcb and built ones, I wouldn't hesitate obsolete or not, and I do believe that his is even cheaper than the shown.
He sells also on ebay

Thank you amplidude, I've found this website that I this is related to the same user:
Amplifier Modules | jlelectronicsph
but I only see modules up to 260 Wrms on 8 Ohm, and that is a bit limiting for a bass amp (that WT series goes from 500 up to 800 Wrms on 8 Ohm).

I see, well it was my best bet, I'm not used to think in such high voltages, other members might have a better proposal, happy hunting
Thank you for the information. So it will need heatsink because the driver has to take care of the capacitance of the gates, I guess.Irs2092 may be obsolete but that does not mean they perform bad, on the contrary
How do you suggest to fix the heatsink to the small smd driver?
Can a better power MOSFET be a solution as well?
Here https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/audio-irs2092.pdf?fileId=5546d462533600a4015356894a8429f0
it stops on IRFB4227 ( https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/irfb4227pbf.pdf?fileId=5546d462533600a401535615eb531e1f ) with no "better" mosfets.
Otherwise, can a buffer be (easily) implemented in between the driver and the power mosfets?

Thank you amplidude, it's always good to know new suppliers, it will come handful for other users. Anyway, it seems that you suggest to give those modules a try, isn't it?
Well I used to glue the heatsinks on using special heat transfer glue.
Well the watts don't meet your request but, they are nice modules, and if you head into trouble jlester is very helpful.
I add a pic of two modules I made from his pcb
Four irfp4227, and bd139/140 totem pole driver, think his new updated version uses a dedicated mosfet driver chip

About your question of adding a totem driver, it would be very difficult, the layout is critical to make this arrangement work properly short traces , proper grounding etc, way out of my expertise
Thanks for all your informations amplidude!
I just bought the teo. I’ll report here how they sound together.
