At uni today we had a look at how digital sampling is done, but only in a somwhat basic/generic way (ie, didn't really cover the process).
I was hoping someone could direct me to some web site (or even a text reference) that covers the digitisation of audio for CD (or PCM in general), as well as how DSD works (I'm intrigued as to how its DAC is essentially an analog low-pass filter!) in some detail, as well as the process of retreiving the signal from its digital for (or the DAC stage).
