gday
Im after the remote for the ask impression 750, would you know of/have a compatible remote, if so how much, or would you happen to know of a code i could type into a ONE for all remote to get it working, any help greatly appreciated.
Alternatively , does anyone know where abouts in aust i could get a 8.4" lcd display/tv, to replace the lcd inside the projector, this is my other alternative.

I know this is replying to a really really old post but I thought I would offer something if people happen to have this problem with this projector, as I did. The easiest thing to do is get some network cable, cut the ends off each end and replace them with male vga connectors. In the user manual that you can still download off the ask proxima website it gives you the pinout that is used with the projector's odd shaped input to connect it to the computer. Use that along with the many guides online to build vga cables and you can create a cable that will allow you to connect your projector up as your monitor to your computer. Luckily, the projector starts out in VGA mode so the projector can still be used. That's the only way this projector can be used without the remote. I too, am interested in if you can replace the LCD in it because mine has a weird white spot in the middle of the lcd and I would also like to have a higher resolution that 640x480...if anyone knows if it's hard to replace it or not, it'd be great to hear from someone. Thanks.

hi there, thanks for your info, long time coming... but no, the projector i had started default in a blank menu with the proxima logo, it did require a remote, thats ok cause i ended up reprogramming a remote to use with it, was no big problem, got rid of it now, my suggestions to you are porn it off on ebay, it aint worth nothing, get another one, they are really cheap now new.
thanks

What replacement remote did you use? I don't mind the projector I have but being able to switch inputs would be great. Please let me know! Thanks!
Also, in response to your answer. The blank menu you see with the proxima logo when you start up the projector is there because you don't have an input plugged in to the projector. It does start in VGA mode but if you have nothing plugged into it, it just shows the blank menu. As soon as you hook up the computer it'll show the input. Would still like to know what remote you used to get it working.
