i have a question, i can buy a infocus 5000FX, 640x480 5k colors. somebody know's if this pannel is ok. pls let me know. The search pointed to a link that never was answered, so i hope this post is allowed.

how much can you buy the infocus for>??
if its more than 15$$ then i say you find a better panel.
infocuse makes the WORST panels out there most of them are crap for the exception of a few.

I can buy it for 55 euro thats about $55 US dollar. It's just for starting. But if one of you already know that i never can watch a movie with it, i don't buy it.
I also can buy a sharp qa-1650 for 150 euro. Maybe thats better but is is 3 times more than for that infocus panel.

Hi yes its impossible to watch with this panel movies..
The result is like watch a film with 256 colors... 🙁..
Buy the sharp thats the better chice.

the 1650 is a great panel but i hear its only 60:1 ratio if my memory serves me right. try to get a 1200 1800 or 2500 is possible.but i MAY be wrong about that ratio.. good luck with your decision.
Don't Buy Infocus. QA 1650 is better.
I have Spectra C of nView and even that is not showing DVD movies via computer. My moview on computer screen is fine and the moment I extend that to LCD display and the Divx or Win Media Player shows nothing in the window on LCD screen.

I'm glad ND added that exception at the end, I have been using an Infocus Powerview for the last 7 months and it is acknowledged as one of the best 'old style' projection panels around.
If you want to stick with projection panels - there's only a mere handful of panels that are better.
Java........Have a bit of faith in Infocus!
