Im looking for rules and guidelines in designing infinete box (not baffels!).
Its something about small inclosures, with big speakers and some acoustic damped ports in the back of the inclosure.
Pointers, anybody....

Acoustic damped ports? I wonder if another name for the Infinite Box you refer to might not be "aperiodic"?

yes, I know, I already have TLCB. But I've seen a sub, that uses 4 variovents to one 12", in a small inclosure. I was wondering if there is any special way to calculate how many vents. I have previously used variovents, but I was told that 1 12" = 2 vents, not 4.

No, not yet. 1st challenge is to find the magazine with the article in it, and given the number of them i have and how they are (not) organized it is a bit of a challenge.

I've finally found something on the subject; from january to may 2001 "Audioexpress" released a series of articles on the subject. I need the calculation method. Would appreciate if someone could scan the above for me. Alternatively a european dealer of "Audioexpress" would also do....(Or someone would sell me the backissues 2001 🙂)
