Can the event accommodate an actively crossed over 3.1-way? I have a flex8 feeding into Aleph5, m2x times 2, and possibly a F5 that I use to drive them.
Dear Mr Wolf: question about this rule (and any related):
I just happen to have a pair of the traditional type of 12" coax drivers and some CDs lying around that I might try to put into play, if allowed.
Would a a 12" coaxial driver with its CD tweeter would be acceptable under the rules? Isn't that a "large waveguide"??? Or are you not allowing those wierd "coax" drivers that have a separate waveguide sticking out from the woofer center?no large waveguides allowed, see faceplate rule. No large coaxial waveguides either, must be behind dustcaps if coaxial. Can only use waveguide if stock and fits within size criteria. If using a compression driver magnet must not exceed >5" diameter, and horn must comply with face sizes.

Actives are a weird ball to set up. If we have any, setup over lunch is the norm.
If you have a coax, the waveguide must be behind the dust cap and not of the weird trumpet-faced variety. CD magnet limited to 5" diameter. Make sense?
