Improving the Emerald Physics 4.7

I've never built an OB speaker. I've never considered using pro coax drivers. I've never heard an Emerald Physics loudspeaker. But from what I've read about Emerald Physics OB's here on this thread(especially the 4.7) and from what Linkwitz has to say about OB dipoles on the Linkwitz Labs site, I've decided to try to make a 4.7 "clone" using superior drivers. Plan to crossover and equalize with a one miniDSP per side.
I don't know why EP uses Eminence drivers in their designs. They appear to be some of the cheapest pro drivers around. I think they use a Selenium D220ti tweeter in one of their designs. 6Moons said it was an upgrade? It sells for $50 on Parts Express.
Pretty sure I'll go with the AE 15" dipole woofer. But I'm not done searching.
AE Speakers --- Superb Quality, Unforgettable Performance, Definitely.

I'm not sure about which 12" coax to use. I've read the recommendations from a similar thread. I came up with the Radian 5312.
Radian Audio 5312Be Beryllium Diaphragm Coaxial Speakers - Radian 5312Be 12" coaxial speakers with a beryllium diaphragm. Radian 5312Be coaxial speaker with a beryllium diaphragm - Radian 512/2B coaxial speaker handles 500 watts AES. Radian 51312Be 1

It's not an inexpensive driver. For an additional $500, I could opt for the 5312BE, with a beryillium tweeter. I don't think the expense is worth the cost. Especially considering that I'm thinking about using a supertweeter, maybe a Foundtek NeoX3.0 ribbon or NeoX2.0. To improve FR above 8-10K and also SQ in that region.

Preliminary crossover points are 200hz, 1khz, and 8khz, but with a DSP, I imagine that will change once I start finding what sounds right with these divers. Amps will be something similar to what miniDSP has to offer, but I;d rather use some version of Pass Alephs if money was no option.
So aside from which version of Radian 5312 I should use, and weather or not to use a ribbon super tweeter, are their any better, currently produced, 12" coax that might be significantly better? Also, I'm thinking about copying the EP "port" that, according to EP, extends the system's F3.(I think I read?). Others have speculated here, that it was acting like a ported box, or even like a band pass. Thanks. Experienced opinions on pro coax drivers are desperately needed.
