Hi everyone!
I want to program the DSP chip inside the Eneby 30 speaker from ikea which has a TAS5711 and TAS5731M, but i dont know how to do it. I never worked with a I2C protocol before so this is totally new to me.. I dont know what kind of programmer and software i need for this, but i did already contacted TI for using their PurePath software eventhought i am not sure if this is actually the software i need 😉 Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!

It is possible but the microcontroller runs more than just the DSP settings, so you would need to extract the full program to be able to modify it. If you want to change the equalizer it would be easier to reprogram the CSR bluetooth module instead of the amplifiers.
Ahh i was afraid of that. I did want to reprogram the CSR chip anyways so i guess it is indeed better to just change the EQ of the CSR chip...
Let me know if you have any luck accessing the CSR bt module! The board seems to have some breakout pins, but i did not have any luck communicating with the chip. Not quite sure where to solder the 1,8 and 3,3 V connectors. New at this, so a little insight would be helpful! I guttet the Eneby 20 and built the components into a 60 year old FM radio box, and would very much like to change the bluetooth name
You have to use the CSR USB<->SPI converter.
Pull SPI_PCM to 1.8V
Connect CLK/MISO/MOSI/CSB
Use the config tool to read out settings
Change 'User Friendly Name'
Write to device

Yes i did change everyting i needed to change with my SPI-Programmer (BT name, sounds, leds, EQ). Be sure to use the latest software and use the right "ROM" in your Configuration-tool. You can change the ROM version by opening the "ConfigSetDefinitions" (Which is most likely in your "Program files x86 folder"). from there it should work!
