Hi!
I'm interested in buying an TAS5630 board like this one
2 X 300 Watt 4 Ohm Class D Audio Amplifier Board - TAS5630 300W Stereo Power Amp | eBay
Does anyone here know how much idle power they need approximately?
And how they sound compared to good TK2050 and TPA3116 boards?
And does anyone here knwo if they can be used BTL directly?
Thanks in advance!

Its 4 channel amp so its already in bridge for stereo, better worry about how much current this amp needs when its high output
I'm planning to use two very huge gel batteries, even 300A@28V shouldn't be a problem 😉
But I want to be self-sustaining with solar panels and if the idle power gets to high that would suck

Chip datasheet says that idle power is 2.7W (2W if it is in SE-mode). so add if you add 10-20% contingency for the consumption of the switching regulator for the gate drive voltage and the LED then I think you'd be very close.
