Hello,
Long time lurker—just dipping my toes into Icepower and audio in general.
Hum and low volume on a 200asc using a Ghent chassis. I checked all the solder joints for continuity and the board is receiving proper power. Here is a picture of what I'm working with. I followed the wiring diagram in the documentation.

Do you have pins 6 and 7 of the input connector tied together (they should be)? I can't tell in the photo whether the shield of the cable is connecting to the RCA jack shield, it should be. Also make sure your external RCA plug's ground is actually connecting to the RCA socket -- some of the "high end" ones seem to get slightly oversized and rigid so they can sometimes slide on without making good shield contact.
So are you saying that the RCA negative lead should connect to the shield of the cable?
Muchos gracias!
Muchos gracias!
According to the data sheet, the input of the amp is balanced...
Your wiring is not suitable for an RCA plug.
You must wire on an XLR plug, hot red, cold white and ground.

Thank you for the information!
But using a balanced input in unbalanced should be compensated by a mod? transformer ...op amp?
Risk of losing momentum...?
In principle if the amp is symmetrical ... I go into symmetrical ...
Thanks !

Thanks for all the input everyone. I moved the RCA washer and shorted the cold input to ground and now everything appears to be working. What would be the advantage of using a transformer? Does shorting the input cause a loss of gain?
