OK,I'm a new guy on the scene.and i was very happy with my fresnel box project.I understand the basics.I am a welder by trade so I do solder well...lol.but i am no electrician.I picked up an Apollo VP350 and was blown away at the 80" nearly flawless picture. don't understand the window screen affect for one and can this be fixed? And for two the bulb was done after about four movies.no problem. but while i'm in there what's the cheapest and easiest way to up my lumens? take in mind the unit was like new and made a fully watchable picture right up to the end....advice? dual lights? fans? and if I am asking those already covered ???'s sorry but i am new to this , tjwheels
most OHPs use halogen bulbs which are garbage
they have a yellow tint which is bad but worse is that their bulb life is pathedic
you probably want to go with a metal halide. they are by far the best for this project
but the ballast inside your ohp will have to be changed if you want a MH light
