Hi there
A friend has a couple of siega,s S3 and a REL Q3 subwoofer.
He has replaced the ice-power module because it was damaged in some way, it only work without a speaker.
He says that he hear a tick into the siega,s even when not connected he get a tick when short the box connections, this is
a irritant problem, strange is that when he remove the sub from the room it dissapair, it looks lile the crossover of the siega,s
build up a charge in one of the caps, maube the emi from the icepower module does this? normal a crossover do not such things
but maybe the setup can I have no schematic of it.
The tick is also when switch on or of the complete system, just ones, and then work normal. But saying that disconnected siega,s satelites
does als tick again after some time there is a charge buildup in one of the cap,s of the crossover.
Somebody familiar with this?
thanks.

This is his question on me. Translated from dutch.
First of all thank you for your response. I also thought it was the REL at first, but I've tried four other subs and they have the same problem. I didn't buy the set together, but 'gathered' it together separately. In the REL there was indeed that Icepower module and I put a similar one back in it. Normally I don't do the shorting either, but I found out when I tried to solve the problem. The funny thing is that even without anything plugged in or even powered on, the speakers click as soon as the connectors are connected or they are connected to an amplifier. The loud tap coincides with the tapping of the enable relay. I tried several amps and one had switches to turn on the speaker pairs A+B. Even if there was no power on that amp and I turned on the speakers with that button, you could hear that tick. It's really very strange this.
