I have just finished the recomended BHL enclosure for the Fostex
FE166, I am thinking of obtaining the HP Sound Reflectors. I have read a recent thread on these and in regards to placemnent it was said "one wall facing another" Cn someone elaborate on where you place these 50>00 palstic creatures. near driver , bottom of horn ?

The reflectors are designed to break standing waves without changing internal volume.
They will act best on longuer wave lengths. Standing waves occur (mainly) between to paralel surfaces.
So the best place to install them is on the side walls, near the mouth (exit) of the horn.

Finished the recomended horn enclosure fro Fostex FE166
I put the hp deflectors on the output of the horn on each side wall.
The bass is very nice. What is interesting is I put ductseal on the bascket and near the magnet and after listining I removed all of it.
The sound is a bit harsh but I would lke to hear them as the break in.
