I'm a 27 year-old from South Africa's beautiful Boland region.
Got into Hi-fi last year during our 5 week lockdown when my 2.1 Logitech PC system kicked the bucket.
For my first system I got a NAD T743 from a family member who wasn't using it, but it has since also kicked the bucket due to the main controller malfunctioning.
Now I'm smiling all the way with a work-from-home, desktop setup consisting of a NAD Series 20 3020 into NHT 1.5 speakers, with an Audient iD4 serving as my DAC. 🙂
I also play bass, hence the audio interface serving as my DAC.
Came here to expand on my limited knowledge of amps and electronics, as I also want to do DIY projects in the future.
My goal at this stage is to gain knowledge in order to build a tube-based preamp pedal for bass, and later one for Hi-fi. 🙂
