Howdy folks -

I registered on this forum a few weeks ago, and have now done enough lurking to decide I might want to stay awhile, so I thought I'd say hello.

I have an engineering education, but have spent my entire career in the digital domain, starting in the 70's as a circuit designer, then software developer, and finally as an engineering manager, all for a major telecom company.

I have always had a love for fine audio, as well as for analog circuit design, but for a variety of reasons have never had the time or money to pursue either of them with much passion.

Now, I am almost 60 years old, and I finally have some time, and a little money. My primary interests are in power amp and preamp design, although I'm finding it hard to avoid being drawn into speaker design issues.

I will try to be part of the signal, rather than part of the noise.
