Hi,
I am developing a 12 v portable Stereo amplifier for phone or whatever has a 3.5 mm jack.
The set up I use:
Pam8610 amplifier
Lithium Ion 12 volt 2,5 Ah battery
2 visaton frs 8 speakers. (3.3inch / 78mm)
Wooden enclosure housing case (with speakers integrated)
The problem: when I connect a smartphone (or laptop etc.) and connect it with a jack cable to the Pam8610 and play music from the device connected an annoying hum occurs on low volumes. It is a crisp light hum sounding like making this sound: ‘ssshhhhshhhsssh’ with your mouth. This hum is only perceivable on low volumes, at high volumes you are unable to hear it.
Can someone help me with a solution to eliminate the hum?
Thanks in advance!
