Does anyone try this ?
I'm thinking to put fullrange speaker in car door panel or somewhere in dashboard.
is it posiible ? how good the sound is ?
if it's possible how you calculate to crreate the box with small volume ?
anyone experiment with this ?

many cars come as standard with a FR speaker... some notch filter will do a lot to get proper sound out off them
smaller FR, e.g. 2" can be placed as if it were a tweeter, x-over at 400Hz and a woof in the door. with such a setup the EMMA 2005 championships was won

I tried doing the car/fullrange a couple of months ago and am happy with the sound. I didnt want to spend much just to find out so I went with Pioneer 164 6.5" dual cone. They are staying in and the Infinity 3 ways that were in the car are now for sale!😱
I used to do installs years ago and Pioneer full range speakers blew me away on more then one occasion. Definitely some of the best bang for the buck out there.
I remember a beater Camaro that everyone in the shop crawled into to listen to and the system that consisted of nothing more then an MEI head unit and a pair of Pioneer 6x9's with whizzers. Sitting in the bay next to it was a tri-amped Porsche that had a 12 speaker system that sounded better but everyone agree the Camaro represented way more bang for the buck.
