I know a lot of people asked about this stuff, and i read a lot of stuff. but i still ain't got to make this work. i got a fresnel lens and i project the image from my monitor into a wall by putting the lens in front of the tv, and it works. but obviously, the projected image is horizontally mirrored because the porjection is like u were seeing the monitor from behind, and that flips the image. how can i flip the pc screen horizontally, with a program, to make the projection get correct? i don't have nvidia card, i have ati radeon 7000. need a program that can flip everything on screen, like, if i run a game, it will be flipped too. thx, dudes.
Your best bet are the ATI Omega drivers.. I haven't actually tried playing a game or anything, but if anything works, this should:

I bought an 8mb ati rage pro for a dual monitor, and with the drivers you can rotate the screen in all directions 180 degrees.
If the monitor you are using is dedicated to your projector, then you can very easily do the rotation mechanically. I won't take the time to type it all out here, as there are places on the web that you can find the information, and I don't even know if you'll be game for doing this. I have a little 13" tv that I've been using for a projector, and I just cracked open the back, hacked the H/V tube yoke connector and swapped the horizontal (I think it was horizontal, I can never keep them straight). It's extremely simple to do, perfectly safe on the tube, totally free and completely reversible.

The inside of a TV or monitor can be deadly. Do not just open up the TV and start poking around. Make sure you research what you are doing first before you make any attempt to get behind the tube. I've been repairing arcade machine monitors for a couple years now and I've gotten to know my way around a monitor chassis pretty well. I'm totally self taught at it, so don't be afraid of it, it can be done, but do be very cautious. All that said, you'd be amazed at how easy it is to rotate the pictre. When I did it, the only tool I used was a hack saw blad to cut the connector in half. I even did it while it was still connected, but powered off of course 🙂
