Hello,
i am trying to build my first 2x1m cable VDH The Integration Hybrid cable to connect my PrePhono to my amplifier.
I have just received 2m of this cable. The connectors are RCA.
The cable has: 2x brown wires, 2x white wires, 1 metal braid.
So, looking for (good) advice how to connects the 4 inner cables and the metal braid to the RCA male connectors.
Please, do someone really knows how to finish this cable ?
Many thanks

This is their advice: "The two inner conductors can be used for plus and minus. One in the center and one for the screen. The two screens are taken together and also connected to the ground bus of ONE of your RCA’s. It is free to take one of them. There is no direction in The Integration Hybrid"
So, am I correct to make this connection:
side 1
1) 1 brown wire soldered to the center pin,
2) other brown wire+2 white wires+braid to the connector chassis
Side 2
1) 1 brown wire soldered to the center pin,
2) brown wire+2 white wires
Braid not connected
What do you think ?

You said there's 4 wires and a braid. They talk about two wires and 2 screens (plus the braid I guess).
So its not clear to me what it actually is. Do you have a pic of the geometry of the wires?
Edit: is this it?
My advice: white center to both side RCA;
Brown ground of both side RCA;
Braid to ONE RCA ground.

Below the geometry.
I think you're right.
Any other advice?

That center, is that also a conductor or just plastic filler?
BTW You can also use one white to connect the two center conductors on the RCA, one brown to connect the grounds of the two RCAs and all the others connected together to the ground of one RCA at one side only.
Maybe that is what they mean and will work just as well.
