How do you calculate the inductance for a length of aluminum foil? All of the equations I've seen are for coils.
Will inductance vary dramatically with frequency? I'm not sure if the skin effect will play a role.

ribbon loudspeaker. I assume the foil is going to form a RL circuit, but I'm not sure how to calculate it.

in that application your hookup wire and/or transformer will probably swamp any inductance due to the ribbon.

Theres still no way to calculate it? I'd like to develop a PSpice model which incorporates all of the elements of the combined circuit (loudspeaker + amplifier), including all parasitic effects.
If I saturate the steel to 2.2 tesla, I believe its permeability approaches that of air and might be assumed a constant.
