RMS ONE FOR EACH SET

MY ? IS WOULD THEY BE GOOD ENOUGH TO BLEND WITH MY PL-28II CENTER AN MY PL-89 tower speaker FRONTS

THose ARE ALSO BEING DRIVEN BY A SET OF XLI 800 TOO

recently,i got a response from a amazon reviewer who said the built in crossovers failed after long term use an he had to replace the

crossovers (though he didnt say how long he used them),has ANYONE had any problems with THESE IN THAT WAY , i use my sound

system about 6 days a week roughly about 10plus hours a day so hopfuly they survive .

so to anyone the has insight about these let me know?

If they are anything like the gamut of cheap passive PA speakers on the market, they will not be all that loud(compared to a PRO PA speaker) and will sound a lot worse than a decent home speaker of the same size. They are 'party' speakers at best. By party speakers I mean, they sound 'ok' and are better to use at a party than anything decent so it doesn't matter if someone spills beer on them.

Rockville is budget Chinese gear with US branding stuck all over it. You will get what you pay for(resonance in vocal range, either flat or sharp treble and probably no useful bass)

Although if you want decent PA speakers that ARE rather loud and very good sounding(but need a sub), the Behringer B212XL is a nice little speaker. Should be easy to find second hand. I tried one as a centre speaker behind my projector screen(acoustically transparent screen) and it did a great job.

Theres a difference between cheap and rubbish.
